Welcome!

Welcome to my web site. I have finished my MSc in Advanced Computer Science at The University of Manchester. I now work at Graham Technology deployment specialist. In my spare time I am trying to make the most of my digital camera and the Scottish highlands for my photo gallery. I am also working hard on my ongoing programming projects.

Update! 25-10-2008

Finally finished updating the photo gallery. You can also see a random selection of photos by visiting the random image gallery. Coding has completely ground to a halt over the last month or so, as always I hope to start again soon:)

Update! 11-09-2008

Another quick update, I have moved some stuff around on my site, reduced the number of links at the top. Eventually there will be a bit of a redesign which is in the works. I have also started uploading photos to my photo gallery. Work in progress but business commitments have to come first!

Update! 18-08-2008

Due to issues with my old hosting server I have had to move to my new server more quickly then expected. Therefore my gallery is currently not available. Please bare with me while I restore all the images. I hope to have them all back by 25/08/2008.

Update! 13-04-2008

Doesn't time fly when you are having fun, or have too much to do. I recently bought a panasonic Lumix TZ5, and I have put up a little review with sample images.

PocketCortana is also moving along, but much slower then I was hoping for. I have reduced the feature set a little to cut down on testing and polish time. Stay tuned for that.

As always there are more photos in my Photo gallery.

Update! 05-01-2008

Happy new year! I hope everyone has had a great start to the new year. I've moved things around a bit here on veebs.com, mainly thanks to my new toy: Vodafone v1615. Also known as the HTC tytn II. A great little device that really does everything you can imagine. And the great thing about Windows Moble 6 (WM6), or WM5 for that matter, you can develop .NET applications targetting the compact framework. Unlike the old days cellphone networks don't lock their devices anymore so you can install unsigned applications on the device.

As an example of the sort of thing you can do with it have a look at PocketCortana.
